![]() It stopped working for me. It works ok with other providers.
Sorry now it works again But I am almost sure it went out for some minutes. Last edited by juancarlos; 04-14-2007 at 06:06 PM. |

![]() it's ok i have encountered the same, you aren't going insane. all outgoing with voipcheap via eu.voxalot.com were giving the busy tone. i switched to the au server, which worked, then 5 mins later back to eu and that also worked!

![]() I just had the same experience with eu.voxalot.com. Switched to us.voxalot.com and all is fine. Strange thing is that incoming calls to sip.ritstele.com were going straight to the Ritstele voicemail, even though both Voxalot and Ritstele showed the account to be on register. Those calls also work now I'm on us.voxalot.com. Could it be a problem with the eu.voxalot.com cluster?

![]() Same here. This morning the eu server was working fine, now all calls that are routed through my voipbuster account are blocked. Switched both my and my parents account to the us server and all is fine again.

![]() VoipBusterPro blocked us.voxalot.com and VoipStunt blocked au.voxalot.com this morning. I had to change the server back and forth.

![]() Well, we just have to wait till Martin gets back on the forums. Maybe he'll come faster if we all start to scream and yell and jump out of frustration :P

![]() mine is working at the moment
However i have experienced now 2 short outages of some 10 minutes. of wich 1 I can confirm All was blocked not only me but also my friends. so it must have been general For example I try to use Pbxes with Voxalot and I heard the tipical voice "all circuitrs are busy" which means that betamax is still blocking pbxes. For me is fine as I dont use pbxes. I was just curious to see what it was But when I try to use again voxalot I got a busy tone (like blocked) for 15 minutes until it came back to normal again by itself. So it looks as the system gets stuck for some time ? Last edited by juancarlos; 04-17-2007 at 08:17 PM. |

![]() Since the Betamax change I have noticed a problem with outgoing calls through a single voipcheap account from both my home and office.
It would appear that Betamax are possibly using the originating IP address to limit outgoing calls from single IP Addresses but have incorporated a timeout to allow for dynamic IP address changes. What I get is "503 Unauthorised" if either: 1) was making a call just before my ADSL line drops and I try to make another as soon as the link is re-established 2) My wife makes a call from home just before I make a call from the office (2 different ADSL links & IP Addresses) In both cases it seems to take a few minutes before another outgoing call can be made from the alternate IP Address. Unfortunately even having a second voipcheap account will not completely solve this issue because one of my ADSL lines is at it's limits and does drop off fairly often. If this is the the cause then I must admit it has already been rather annoying. Last edited by prioryc; 04-17-2007 at 08:57 PM. Reason: clarity |

![]() on the betamax pages the smallprint says: Max 300 minutes per week of free calls, measured over the last 7 days and per unique IP address.
as they are tracking the usage per user account i dont know what this sentence means, but perhaps some policy with this additional unique ip tracking is causing all this trouble. |
