Sipbroker to voxalot transfer to sip address
I would like any calls to voxalot via SIP/VOIP and my local sip broker in Milwaukee to be forwarded to my sip address at callcentric.com.
I call this sipbroker\/ +1-414-326-9697 enter the voxalot code *010 at prompt I dial my vox' Id. I get a busy signal. I added my skype number as a forward number but still dose the same thing. when one calls my voxalot number it should transfer through callcentric (service provider) at there rates to forwarded number right?? \/***************************************\/ I would also like to try and get my callcentric softphone to ring by doing a transfer from voxalot to callcentric via free sip to sip. I want to do this to avoid paying any per minute rates to callcentric /\***************************************/\ eventualy want to manage multiple providers from voxalot. my voxalot ID is 993178 17772068762 is my identifaction number on callsentric. I use the callcentric softohone. note I have not purchased an inbound number from callcentric. I am using the pay per minute plan to call out. when setting callcentric as my service provider at VoxaLot I say (reg) yes. Then it says pending and after a while it has a dash like it dose when I say no to that option. When I view it, the option reg still = "yes" I am trying everything, any help would be greatly appreaciated I dont want to purchase an in number from callcentric. I just want to use callcentric for outgoing calls when skype is congested I have been getting more dropped calls from skype than usuall and I just want a backup plan because I still like the skype service. Is it possible to forward from voxalot to the my sip address@callcentric.com?? I notice you nead to choose a service provider for forwards, so I am getting the idea that you have to pay that providers rate for the outbound forward just made.. Thats why I want to use the free sip to sip type of connection. Also I called my independent (ie. not connected to computer philips voip841) skype phone from callcentric softphone and both the soft phone and skype phone rang. This only happened once out of six or seven tries. I can successfully comunicate with myself now... I am going to buy an ata router and connect the RJ telephone connection to the landline in connextion on the phillips DECT 841voip. Then I will be able to choose landline and call out via sip when skype is dropping.. And I would prefer to figure out how to get all the features at voxalot working. that way I can controll mutiple providers based on rules... PLEASE HELP i am stuck trying to *sip*sip Last edited by leprien27; 02-10-2008 at 10:55 PM. |

The Forwarding feature in Voxalot is part of the Premium services.
Depending on how many "Registered" providers you plan to have, you have to get VoxLite or VoxPro (1 or 5 registered providers respectively). Alternatively, you can create a SipBroker alias which you can point to your Callcentric account (check out SIPBroker - Login). To use Callcentric for outgoing calls, you do not need to register it. To receive Callcentric calls to your Voxalot account, you can set up a Forward under the "Call Treatments" tab when you log in to your Callcentric account, and forward all calls to sip:xxxxxx@voxalot.com Note that you can only register Callcentric in one SIP user agent (soft-phone, IP device, or service like Voxalot). You have a lot of choices to achieve what you want, so you need to understand how the different services work together to achieve the specific features and configuration that will work for you. |

Yep, $15 is VoXLite.... (which means 1 Incoming Registration + All other Premium Features including Call Forwarding)
I think just closing the CallCentric SoftPhone, and having VoXalot register with CallCenric instead should be be able to boot off the old registration As for outgoing calls via CallCentric see the section called Smart Call (Dial Plan) in your account, you need to create a Dial Plan for CallCentric(it should be reasonably easy to follow).... If you need more info or specific help, feel free to post again... Last edited by emoci; 02-12-2008 at 12:30 AM. |

Well before I register my callcentric accout with voxalot,
I am trying to get the X-lite softphone I registered to my voxalot address to ring when I use the sipbroker. I still get a busy signal though. my# 993178@voxalot.com when I try to access my v-mail (ie. *010 500) I get the prompt for the v-mail number enter 993178 works fine. Then I try to enter the password I have listed in my v-mail settings and I keep getting, message incorect login. I am doing everything it says in the faq, I'm pretty sure. I do not have any forwards or anthing on yet. all I have is callcentric as a service provider and my X-lite phone registered. Note when the default v-mail pswrd ddn't wrk I changed it, but the problem still exsists. Please help I don't want to forward anthing untill I have the basics working and they just arn't going entirely smoothly Thanx for everyones help. |

-Register your SoftPhone with VoXalot -Call a SipBroker Access Number (from PSTN) -Dial *010123456 (where 123456 is your VoXalot number) Can you receive a call in this case? In regards to accessing VoiceMail: -Use a regular PSTN phone -Call a SipBroker Access Number -Dial *010*500 -Enter your VoXalot number -Enter your PIN Can you get to VM this way (I have a feeling we have a DTMF issue on our hands, assuming before you were trying from the SoftPhone)? yes using the broker from my cell phone works.
When trying to use skype out I have troubles. Now for configuring callcentric. I log out and exit the callcentric soft phone, but the setting in my account still say registered. voxalot will not register. Every time I try. I edit the old entry and save it. I am going to try and add a brand new provider entry. the forward from callcentric works yay. I can also access v-mail from cell. thanks again. I sent a message to support for callcentric to unregister the softphone, but I am going to try new entry |

BTW, do you need to SIP register Callcentric to start with, if forwarding from CallCentric is already working.... (the only downside is that you cannot use the CallForwarding rules to select based on Call Centric as an Incoming provider if you don't SIP Register) One more thing, when using SkypeOut, dial slow when entering pins, leaving time for one digit to get through....(that seems to work for me anyways) Last edited by emoci; 02-12-2008 at 02:52 AM. |

everything works now thank you.
callcentric said unregistered then switched back to registered. In voxalot provider list said pending for some time then just put a dash in that field. Is it supposed to be like this? But I can call out with voxalot now and recieve calls via sipbroker. the forward from callcentric works also. appreciate the help posts a lot. |
