Web Callback Delay
Hi, I'm using your web callback feature between 2 Australian landlines (SIPME for both legs) and there is a noticeable delay . Another post mentioned that your web callback only goes through your US voxalot.com server (not voxalot.com.au). My question is, once the call is established is it still going via your US server, i.e. is the delay only to do with SIPME or could it be the fact it is going via the US.
Thanks in advance , Josh |

Web Callback is currently initiated from the U.S. server so this is why you are experiecing lag.
We are working on a Web service API that will allow callback calls to be initiated from any server (not just the U.S one). Once this API is complete callbacks will be initiated from your preferred server (as defined in your member details).

Cool thanks, I thought your server may just connect the two parties then remove itself from the equation and if that was the case the delay was to do with SIPME.
Do you have an approximate time frame of when it will be possible to use the Australian server??? Josh |

Our delivery schedule is:
- 5 min provider registrations (this weekend - subject to testing). - 13/1300 and 0870 etc geographic ENUM lookups (this weekend). - Move SIP Broker to new data centre (this weekend). - Setup additional VoXaLot servers within cluster (2 weeks). - Deploy API framework (Mid Nov) We are also working on some other really cool features that we are keeping under wraps. These feature will be announced as part of our premium launch torward year end.

Would a UK server be useful to you and other members?

A UK server would be great for me, once forced voicemail is removed, as then I would come back, as Voxalot is a great idea, just let down in parts.
