New voice mail notification
Hi, I'm a new user and I am in love with the service so far. Just one comment/suggestion about new voice mail notifications via email. I am having mine forwarded to my cell phone, which works great, however I can only get the subject line displayed, which does not really contain any useful information apart from the fact a message has been left. It would be great if I could have the caller id (if available) of the person who left the message appear in the subject line. Anyway, keep up the good work.

I am having the same problem because I use my cellphone to receive notifications (via yahoo email) and miss all of the important information, like who called.
Please consider the following format or something similar: current notification Subject: [PBX]: New message 1 in mailbox 123456 Hello: just wanted to let you know you were just left a 0:13 long message (number 1) in mailbox 123456 from "123456789" <123456789>, on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 04:04:39 PM, so you might want to check it when you get a chance by dialing extn *500. Thanks! --VoXaLot Voicemail Server How about something like this Subject: [PBX]: "123456789" <123456789> Left new message 1 in mailbox 123456 Hello: just wanted to let you know you were just left a 0:13 long message (number 1) in mailbox 123456 from "123456789" <123456789>, on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 04:04:39 PM, so you might want to check it when you get a chance by dialing extn *500. Thanks! --VoXaLot Voicemail Server This is what comes via SMS now Fr: support@voxalot.com S:[PBX]:New message 1 in mailbox 123456 B:Hello: ?just wanted to... I know my mailbox number and would assume the call just came in, so my mailbox number and time stamp are much less important (to me) than the caller id info. This would also allow people to see who called in the subject line of an email and not even have to open it. Thanks for all of the great work and features in Voxalot. bigboffo |

Thanks to everybody in the development team for implementing this so fast.
Works like a charm. No need to read more than the subject line anymore. bigboffo |
