iphone and sip port problem!!
Hi,
I have a problem in my university wireless! I have an Ipod touch 4 and I used to use free or low cost calls but in my university most of the ports are blocked and I can not connect to sip! I also have the SIP Adapter "Linksys Pap2t" at home. I want to know is there any way for me to use my ipod in university to make calls with your services or not? as I know just ports 80 and 81 is open at university ( I will scan for the other possible ports too ), I want at least to make free calls from my Ipod to home ( linksys pap2t sip adapter ) and also I want to know if I can call my friends on the other sip providers or not? ( like lowrate or voiprader etc. ) Please let me know which packets of you is better for me in this situation. Thank you. |

I've never tried with a iPod Touch but I have set my Android (running Sipdroid) to use TCP over port 80 and it works fine.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by your question. It's my Voxalot account that is registered on TCP/port 80 on Sipdroid. From then on my dialling plan takes care of my providers on a call-by-call basis, so who they are is actually irrelevant.
