use of voicemail if a WLAN-cell-phone is "powered-down"
Hi,
I recommended voxalot to a befriended familiy together with an 'ebay-cheap' WLAN-cell-phone (TC300). Now everything works fine. And when nobody is at home they switch off their WLAN-cell-phone. But when I want to call them (voxalot to voxalot) while this cell-phone is switched off I get immediately the busy-signal and not - what I would think - a connection to their voicemailbox with voxalot. Is this meant to be so? I would like to be connectedt to their mailbox, e.g. to tell them to call me back when they are back? On the other hand I do de-register my phone, when I am leaving (automatically done when I shutdowm my pc) my little office and now incomming calls are directly connetcted to my voicemailbox - this is perfect! Carl

Do they have VM Active set to "Yes" on their member details page?

yes matrin,
voicemail is/was all the time set yes. And I just retried (told them to shutdown the phone) and called them immediately busy. Carl

One distinct possibility is the fact that the wi-fi phone is still registered to Voxalot while conducting this test. I have seen this situation in the past, where there are no SIP devices currently powered up/running that can answer a call, but they are still within the period specified by the registration interval, and instead of getting voice mail (as would happen if no devices were registered), you get instead a busy signal. It clears up though as soon as registrations expire.

Edit: Carl are both you and the other party registered on the EU server?
