As far as I understand Voxalot provides all voxalot-users an INUM. So my INUM at Voxalot is 883510004xxxxxx (where xxxxxx is my Voxalot-user).

Voipbuster doesn't provides its users an INUM (not yet).
Voipbuster says it is possible to phone an INUM (for free). And that is good because there are only a few providers in the world who opened their network for calling to +883-numbers. And indeed it is possible to call for free (even if you have no credit at all) via voipbuster. But the connection fails at the end.

Unhappy Making Inum work - Work Trial Call - Busy Tones Only

Martin, I can successfully call the Inum access phone number in Tokyo and when dialing 883510004xxxxxx after prompt I am advised "connecting" by the prompt voice, but I just get busy tones shortly after this Wednesday early evening, January 7.

Is Voxalot presently fully set up to pass on these calls to my registered VSP or not?

Just checked with NYC access number - everything works as it should.
Have you checked that your "xxxxxx" is reachable from other SIP-phone and/or Sipbroker PSTN access number?

Yes, I have checked Sipbroker PSTN access Number. Worked well...

Further, when attempting to call 883510004xxxxxx, this time from Sydney INUM access number, I get the same treatment: Busy tones after the "Connecting".

I used the Greek iNUM to connect to a voxalot iNum account and it works.
The quality is not perfect but the good thing is that if you store the <iNUM access number pause voxalot iNUM> then you don't have to dial two numbers.

This Friday morning, the problem remains UN-RESOLVED! Martin, I had Voxbone support trace the connection. Should you wish to view the result, then I could forward the conversation, please advise...

Sunday, January 11: Waiting patiently for a solution...

Wednesday, January 14: Still waiting...

Thursday, January 15: RESOLVED! I had not attended to some basic Voxalot configurations.

I have registered voxalot on linksys SPA2102 and set it up similar to SPA3102 voxalot configuration guide, I can receive inum calls when i use inum access numbers, but when another party call me from one of Betamax company, at first my phone rings when i pick up i hear silence and the other party hears it is still ringing, but the counter starts so it shows the call is connected. any one have any idea how i can solve this problem? or if there is a problem with voxalot settings, Martin may you please take a look at it.
Thanks

Hi,
I am trying to call my voxalot INUM from a SIP phone registered with Callcentric in the format 883510004xxxxx the call goes perfectly and the other SIP registered with VOXALOT rings when i pick up the phone registered with voxalot there is not voice at all where as the first phone registered with CALLCENTRIC hears the ringing tone only, but the call counter shows that the call is connected.
Any one kindly throw any light on the issue as what need to be done.

Are both phones running behind the same router ?
This sounds like a firewall issue to me.

Hi Kurn,
Yes Both the phones are running behind the same router, I have already tried to call a distant VOXALOT INUM number from my call centric the result was the same as i mentioned in my previous post.
