port blocked
Hi,
I am trying to use eu.voxalot.com through a ISP which has port 5060 blocked. To solve this situation I configured the following: eu.voxalot.com:80 in my sip address, now it can connect to the server. When I call to 500 I can hear perfectly my voice mail messages Problem: When I call *600 I can't hear my echo. When I call to an outbound number, sometimes the other person can hear my voice, other times no... Any idea to solve this? I had already tried play with NAT yes/no with Stun without sucess in both cases... |

1. STUN was definitely a good idea... 2. I would suggest actually changing the registration port on the device to 80,rather than adding :80 at the end of the host address (I would also try 443 instead of 80 and see if anything changes) 3. On your ATA, NAT Mapping Enable and NAT Keep Alive should be active 4. By default, Symmetric NAT handling in your VoXalot member page acct. is set to yes. May want to try HowTo: 6 Steps To Optimize Your Audio - Voxalot FAQ Hope it helps.... |
