No logro entender bien como funciona el sip broker
o cual su utilidad ... ????
alguien sabria explicarme se lo agradeceria mucho
o quizas alguna pagina para entender ?????


I cant understand how really works the sip broker
or how it the use.....
anyone can give me a hand or tell me a good

Ok,

SipBroker provides many PSTN (actual phone numbers) in different countries, see here SIPBroker - PSTN Numbers

Also it assigns each VoIP network a SipCode (*xxx or *xxxx). For a list of SipCodes see here: SIPBroker - Provider White Pages

Now let's say you want to call someone who is using Gizmo and has a Gizmo Number of 1-747-123-4567

You call the PSTN number in your country (from a regular phone), then enter *747-17471234567 (*SipCode-Number)

Of course you can use this to call people on other networks (by network meaning other VoIP services). To see which networks are accepting calls like this see if the SipCode has a green or a red sign.

So, in summary SipBroker lets people call you on your VoIP line from regular phones!!!

If you still don't understand, a good way is to try it yourself:
Get a VoXalot account and register it on an ATA or SoftPhone....
Then using your regular phone call any of the PSTN numbers (look for one local to you) then enter *010123456 (replace 123456 with your actual VoXalot number)
