I've had occasional occurances of inbound service failing while outbound is fine. The remedy has been to reboot the ATA device. I don't know the root of the problem but I wonder if it could be related to the erroneous UDP messages sent to the ATA in order to keep the NAT firewall open.

In my case, I disabled symmetric NAT translation on my voxalot setting (since my ATA is not behind a NAT translation) and the problem has not happened since (about 11 days up-time).

On the other hand I don't see why it should tolerate thousands of the erroneous UDP messages (used to provoke the ATA into a TCP SIP error response to keep the translation open) and then get unhappy with one. Maybe there is a race condition in my ATA's software that gets unlucky once in a while.

I am having similar problems to Kurun which I posted last week on:

Either calling Voxalot to Voxalot or via PSTN gateway I am currently getting redirected always to the voicemail of the destination account.
