Voicemail Problem
Greetings All
I login to Voxalot using a Cisco 7960 running SIP 8.6. DTMF is working fine My MWI has been triggered despite the fact that Voicemail has not been activated on the Voxalot Site user menu (Basic free) I call in to Voicemail (*500) and enter password. (9999) There are apparently 4 messages for me but in fact each one is zero length, if I choose 'message delete' I get the prompt 'message deleted' - I then repeat this listening to the next message and deleting it. Then I press # to logout. Logging in again a few minutes later tells me again that I still have four messages and of course the MWI doesn't clear. I also tried sending the messages to a folder - the nice American lady tells me they have been sent there but lo and behold they appear back in the original message folder! Could someone let me know how I can delete the 'messages' and clear my MWI please ? Last edited by 333112; 01-17-2008 at 11:50 PM. |

Hi Martin,
I've got a similar problem. I have 14 empty voice messages and cannot delete them. After pressing 7, the voice prompts says "message deleted" but when I call 500 again the number of messages is unchanged. Could you help me get rid of them? Thanks! Mike |

I have the same problem with my voicemail. After deleting messages, they are there on next log in. Acct 559322.

This is strange.
I also find that when users call me, rather than ring 8 times, and go to voicemail, it diverts after 2 rings! I have no other voicemail setup, voicemail is setup at your server, not at the device. It's just not making sense..... I will get emails informing me of a voicemail message and sometimes 90-50% of the messages wll have problems.... Thanks! |
