Problems with Minitar MVA11A and Voxalot
I've just bought myslef a new Minitar MVA11A ATA to replace my old SPA3000 and I'm having trouble getting it to work with Voxalot. I have Pennytel and Freecall.net.au as VSPs but I've entered Voxalot as Provider1. I've tried a number of permutations of port forwarding and stun and these are my results. Where it says "No" that means neither party can hear a voice.
Port fwd on, Stun off -> Pennytel=Yes, Freecall=No, Voxalot=No Port fwd off, Stun off -> Pennytel=No, Freecall=No, Voxalot=No Port fwd on, Stun on -> Pennytel=Yes, Freecall=Yes, Voxalot=I can hear them, they can't hear me It's very odd that the VSPs work when I specify them directly (by prefixing 2* or 3* when I dial the number), but they don't work when I use them indirectly via my Voxalot dial plans. I'm using port 5062 for SIP port and 5511 for RTP port. Any advice on how to set this up so the MVA11A works correctly with Voxalot? |

If you have only one SIP device on the network, usually the simplest solution is to use STUN (stun.voxalot.com:3478 or stun.xten.com:3478) with no port forwarding.
I am not familiar with this specific device. |
