![]() Does voxalot support 3-way conference calls? What are the steps to do a 3-way call?

![]() I think this largely depends on the SIP device you are using.
Some SIP devices seem to implement conference calls using "multi-line" functionality (eg X-Pro softphone ), and the audio is mixed locally by the SIP phone. VoXaLot will work fine with this, as it does not limit the number of simultaneous calls (although any providers you are using might). Mixing the audio locally on the phone seems to be the most reliable way to do a conference call, as different calls can be made through different providers (or rather, through different SIP proxies), and mixed into the one conference. However, other SIP devices seem to depend on some type of support from the SIP server to do conference calls, such as the Atcom AT-530 I'm using. I still haven't figured out how to do a conference call on it. However, provided that what my phone does is SIP-compliant, I'm sure that VoXaLot would support whatever is necessary. |
