Registers to au.voxalot.com but 600 echo test does nothing. Works ok on us.voxalot.com.

It is still down for me. I can login to the voxalot website and ping the au server but my device fails to register. I logged into one of my VSP's and it says my account is NOT registered even though the Voxalot server says it is.

Getting annoyed now. I only just renewed and now I wish I didn't.

I pay a reasonable amount of money for this sort of thing not to happen, even if it is rare. Voxalot has been down recently a few times.

A 10hr outage is absolutely not acceptable! Ridiculous! In my industry (aviation) someone would be out of a job so quick they wouldn't know what hit them....

I will definitely not be renewing mine and my family's accounts next year. Sorry Voxalot!

It would help even if we knew that VoXaLot was aware of the problem. The status page says things are operational, but that's not correct.

Yep, agree. I really wonder where my $25 USD go because I certainly don't see it going anywhere at the moment......

Over 11 hrs now. Someone needs to take responsibility rather than apologise for an outage

Sorry, our server crashed - tough luck, you'll have to wait till we get back online.

This is absurd.

Hi,

The Australian service has recently become totally unreliable. As much as it rubs me the wrong way I am being forced to shift to the USA servers until someone can bring some stability and reliability to the Australian servers. I am being forced to put up with latency issues as the alternative to no service at all.

Perhaps it is time for Voxalot to extend our subscriptions for a month or two by way of an apology for the poor service and as an incentive for them to improve the reliability of the Australian network.

Another idea would be to automatically redirect au.volalot.com (or any other node that is down) to another data centre when there is a fault. Manually reconfiguring all my handsets every time the Australian server falls over is a total pain.

Regards,
Ian.

There is always an option of using hardware with “Least Cost Routing” capability, I lean more and more towards this option now.

Same here - unable to register. Working fine for weeks before this, last successful call through au vox was 13th.

OzVoipStatus lists the following outages, including a current one.

The website seems ok though, can logon and view account details. That's probably US-based though?
