Default Newbie smart dial question

Hi all

Probably real simple for one of you guys but I've spent hours trying to solve it

What dial plan do I need to send *xx to MyNetPhone as per this whirlpool post?

Actually *xx is a little tricky because VoXalot has reserved *xxx. for SipBroker calls...

1. First thing to try is something like this (under Smart Call>>Advanced):
Pattern: _#xx.
Replacement: *${EXTEN:1}
Provider:MyNetPhone

Then dial #72 for *72, #73 for *73 etc...

(careful if you're using an ATA you may need to set up something to allow dialing '#' eg. in your Dial Plan Line on the ATA (Other Dial Plan|#xx.)

2. Another solution would be to set up Speed Dials...

For example:

Dial: 72
Name: Call Forward
Route:Phone Number
Number to Call: *72
Provider: MyNetPhone

Then dialing **72 will get you *72 on MyNetPhone


Of course the catch is that you need to set a rule up for each in this case... (you'll need to repeat for *73, *90 etc.) can't set up a blanket rule to take care of everything
