Short Voicemail Annoyance

I'm using Voxalot voicemail, but it has one major annoyance, it considers 1-2 second long silent voicemails as legitimate. I've used other voip provider's voicemails that didn't do this.

So right now, if somebody calls me, it goes to voicemail and they hang up right-before/during/right-after the beep, Voxalot records the silence and then considers it a message. Forwards the email, sends the MWI info, etc.

Gets tiring to connect to the voicemail system just to delete an empty voicemail, would be slightly easier if it were doable via the website at least.

So would it be possible to make Voxalot's voicemail act like other voicemail systems and fix this 2 second silent voicemail problem? Thanks.

We have implemented your suggestion and the minimum message length for voicemail is now 3 seconds.
