Are you using eu.voxalot.com with voipcheap.com dialplan?

I will test the connection to voipcheap.com and voipbuster.com using eu.voxalot.com from Vienna this evening and post the results here.

But - we all are waiting the news from Tony!

Hi All,

I just got notified by Betamax that they have discovered the problem, and are apologetic for all the consternation suffered by the Voxalot community. They are working on fixing the issue, but could not say how long it would take to apply the fix to all the servers. I will keep you posted .

I'm very glad Voxalot has a (quick) way of reaching Betamax. Without it we would all still be wondering if and when they would get to notice something was up. Thanks Tony!

Hallo *!

Here are my test results:


Gigaset -> eu.voxalot.com -> dial plan for sip.voipbuster.com and sip.voipcheap are working perfectly! All landline calls to Vienna/Austria are free and not marked as fup.


WebCallBack is *NOT* working! I try with all posible voip provider combinations (voipbuster-voipcheap, voipbuster-voipbuster, voipcheap-...), *no* signal, *without* error message! .. And not charged!

My preliminary results show that SPA3102 -> eu.voxalot.com -> Voipdiscount now seems to work without an FUP charge.

I'm having some strange results with CLI though. I'm trying to replicate them but it appears that my verified Voipdiscount CLI is passed to my mobile (Orange UK) but not to my landline (BT). I know that this isn't a VoXaLoT issue, but has anyone else had any similar experience?

i also have sometimes strange issues with cli transmission. it always works, exzept on the cell of my girlfried

dont know why. perhaps its an issue with telering in austria, cause they use national roaming.

FYI, my last 2 calls through Webcalldirect were marked FREE without me changing anything.

Default FUP Issue fixed on all Severs

Hi All,

Ok I have received official word from Betamax Tech Support.

The FUP issue has been fixed on all servers. However there may still be issues with a few IP addresses. These should resolve them selves in the next few days.

This is the response I got from Betamax Tech Support


"The servers have been updated with the fix. Almost all users should be able to call from now on without hitting the fair use policy limit. A handfull IP addresses still have an exceeded FUP value (max. about 10 addresses). Unfortunately there is no easy way for us to find these users and reset their FUP values. Within a few days this problem will solve itself because FUP checking takes place over a window of 7 days. In case individual users should still complain about this problem the coming days, please let us know and we will reset the FUP for these users."

I'm still having this same problem today with WebCallBack and VoipDiscount. Just a dead line. No sound at all.
