Web activated telephony, but you control the cost!
No VoIP equipment required!
Initiate calls between any two phones, anywhere in the world. No restrictions - either end can be a land line, mobile or VoIP phone. You control the cost of the call by choosing your own providers - there is no lock-in to the service provider. Even choose two different providers for each leg of the call. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. For more details see our tutorial

From your Web Callback tutorial:
"You also sign up with a provider in another country (eg. USA) that provides untimed local calls for 8c." Do you happen to know of a USA provider that offers untimed local calls in this manner? I'm simply curious as I've been doing a lot a research on provider costs and plans recently and hadn't run across any with this billing approach. Thanks. Ron |

More suggestions for your todo list:
Add a clickable Web Callback version of Speed Dial that accepts, stores, and executes Web Callback information. Once set up, frequently called numbers are only a click away. Also, since most of the time everything in Web Callback but the "Number to Dial" will be the same, these fields should default to user-defined preferences. Ron |

I was wondering how much premium account will cost? Can you give me an indication. I have got fast internet access, but for those people not willing to pay money(15 euro/month) for internet provider I think this service rocks. But offcourse then premium account should not be to expensive... I got family without fast internet and I am thinking:
a. giving them fast internet. b. give them premium account Many thanks, Alfred Westerveld |

Hi Alfred,
A premium VoXaLot account will require a small annual fee. We plan to run the Web Callback trial for a couple of months to determine our bandwidth and hosting costs. We will then use these figures to determine the fee. I can say that based on our current estimates, it will be significantly less than the cost you are paying for your high speed internet.

Wengo
Hi,
Using Wengo on both legs works for me: Following your post, I've just tried again a French PSTN number (1st leg) and a French mobile number on leg two. Both do ring and the communication is established normally. How did you enter the numbers ? If they are French based, just enter the ten national digits (01xxxxxxxx, 02xxxxxxxx, 03xxxxxxxx, ...). In contrast to other providers you DO NOT need entering the international prefix (0033xxxx ) when using Wengo. Cheers, krisch |

Thanx a lot Kricsh Saw many of your posts on the wengo forum and they are very usefull! Translation: Did all you said and works great now ! One other issue i'm facing is that i can't use the webcall back system for more than one call.My wife cannot use the same account to dial via voxalot while at work if i'm on communication at home with somone else..She says the line's busy . Thanx for any kind of suggestion for this and would be great if it was not an Asterisk suggestion(loool) don't understand a word of it! loool (but sure i will learn..soon..very soon... |

Is it possible to have pauses in the dialling, like to enter an extension number on answer of the main number?
