Default SIP Registration

Any ideas why a SIP registrations are proving problematic? They appear to be taking their time, and a new one I set up last night doesn't work at all yet (Talkin2ya.nl) I wondered initially if it was something to do with the sip proxy I was entering (sip.budgetphone.nl) but the others I set up also appear to have taken their time.

Any ideas???

Hi,

To get Budgetphone/Talkin2Ya to work, follow the directions in this post:

Good luck!

Thanks clundestad, I've put those in - was missing the domain in the user name for the registration account. Hadn't even tried to make an outbound call, but I have set that one up as well now.

Still appears to be taking its time registering (as did my Sipgate account a couple of days ago), but let's hope it eventually makes it.

Cheers

If you read the next couple of posts in the same thread, you will see that Budgetphone is always listed as "Not registered", even though you're actually registered and inbound calls work fine.

Apparently it's due to a bug in Asterisk.
