error 513 message too big(Dyn DNS)

Hi VoxAlot Team,
I was trying to register EU Voxalot server by using Dynamic DNS entries but I always get error '513 message too big' while registering. I have created following dynamic DNS entries for eu.voxalot.com & pbxes.org . PBXes works perfetcly fine with Dynamic DNS but VoxAlot can't register.

sip2eu.no-ip.info -> eu.voxalot.com
sip2eu.no-ip.org -> 85.17.19.194
sip2pbxes.no-ip.info -> sip.pbxes.org
sip2pbxes.no-ip.org -> 88.198.36.79

I have searched in internet & it seams that there are some configuration parameters to be changed on SIP server to work with Dyn DNS.

May be Vox team can support DynDNS.

I have tested with Eyebeam & Fritz Box.

If some logs are needed, I can also send in PM.

What are you trying to achieve?
Why do you need "sip2eu.no-ip.info -> eu.voxalot.com" ?

ok i have configure 3-5 systems remotly to use voxalot services. Now if EU server goes down I have to reconfigure all system to other clusters. If DynDns is supported by VoxAlot, then I can use sip2eu.no-ip.info as sip address and when problem occurres i will point this DnyDns to AU or US server then my systems will work using new cluster.

Hope this clarify my usage.

OK, I see your point.
Don't think this will work at the end...
Voxalot server will definitely receive the IP packets addressed to sip2eu.no-ip.info as soon as the IP address will be correct. But Voxalot server will not process SIP messages addressed to domains other than xx.voxalot.com

If VoxAlot team want may be they can fix it. I have searched in internet & found that this is some configuration problem of OpenSer SIP server. May be PBXes & VoxAlot have totaly different backend software, but on PBXes.org this works without any problem as expected. In reality this should also work with voxalot, if it is not working then this is BUG which needs to be fixed.

It will be very nice if voxalot can fix this issue.

well there is no specific bug reported which I can point out but following links shows there is problem with dynamic IPs.

dyndns and sip_nat.conf | trixbox
HOWTO Setup A Remote SIP Extension | FreePBX

I have similar DynDns tested with PBX server and it works there. So I consider this as BUG for voxalot server.

Also this dyndns point to right IP so voxalot should with dyndns.

In past, I have seen one user was trying to achive what I am trying to do for similar objective but was getting error.

Again, there is no bug.

The links your mentioned are describing the workarounds for Asterisk owners who don't have fixed public IPs so they have to use various tricks to obtain information about their public IP. One of the tricks is to use DynDNS kind of service along with externhost directive. I was using this myself for some time and since 1.6 I switched to STUN.

As soon as Voxalot servers are using fixed public IPs there is no need for them to use those or other tricks at all.
