Substitute IP numbers for us.voxalot.com
My ISP's DNS server was having a spot of trouble, so I thought I'd make my VoIP phone more reliable by using the IP numbers (64.34.173.199) in place of us.voxalot.com. This worked for outbound calls but I could not receive calls, the caller (also on Voxalot) got a fast busy signal. Anyone know why?

I really don't understand the technical SIP protocol well enough to hazard a guess why.
You might consider trying http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opendns and using us.voxalot.com once again and see if that is a happy compromise. |

Try using the following :
SIP Server - us.voxalot.com (As listed on the preferred clusters field) Outbound proxy - 64.34.173.199 This should work. |
