![]() Could it be Codec related. I've seen that before?

![]() Well,
Quote:
(=not-splitted-Tel) for a valid registration, if I hook off this (second) line I get the dial tone. Now, this is my situation: - If s.o. (dibsmft) directly dials my voxalot no. (305234@voxcalot.com) my ATA rings as it should, - if s.o. dials (dibsmft tested this) > +1-902-482-3738 > and type in the ENUM at the prompt: > 008829993305234 my ATA rings, - BUT if the same person (right after this) dials +43-1-230720-305234 (this forwards the calls acc. to ENUM to voxalot from selfnet [sorry for my typo]) the ATA does not ring - or has rung twice - but the calls are send to VM. I don't see what causes this problem, I am confused because it has worked twice. Could this be the problem, as my voxalot no. 305234 is part of the tel.no. (+431 20720 305234) that selfnet uses to identify my ENUM entry to forward the calls my address at voxalot (305234@voxalt.com)? Could it be that if I call myself from +43720 305234 (my VoiPDiscount No.) this is regarded as a loopback and everything goes directly to the VM? Quote:
Thanks, Carl

![]() well,
I registered 2nd account with a different no. (408236), same outcome: while being online or registered calls are directly connected to VM. Carl

![]() I also have problems with registering with Sipgate. I found out 2 days ago that it wasn't registered and have tried to get it to register since then, with no luck. I haven't changed any settings to do with registering for a long time. Is this a problem at Sipgate's end? Don't tell me they're blocking more stuff...
Also, it appears that there is a problem with the sipbroker PSTN lines in Australia - I've tried calling myself using a UK PSTN number, but got an sms from someone in Australia saying they couldn't get through. I tried it myself, and got the message saying "there has been a problem routing this call..." |

![]() I had same problem with sipgate and FWD, they wont register automatically, anyway I deleted them, waited about half an hour and made fresh registration successfully. The only majot problem is if you have dail plans for these providers than you have to delete those also! Trying to find easier ways...!

![]() No need to delete the providers. To force them to re-register just:
1: Change SIP register to "NO" and save 2: Change SIP register back to "YES" and save.

![]() Martin, FWD wont register and I tried to sign in with their client on my laptop and failed to register so it must be a problem with FWD and not voxalot.

![]() It seems FWD are having a lot of trouble with their proxy server at present. I could not get FWD to work this morning.

![]() This thread has many messages re- FWD and there is another thread and perhaps would be useful to cut messages re FWD to integtete with this thread>> http://forum.voxalot.com/showthread.php?t=672
PS: FWD still not working. Again their clent software failed. I have been trying this one in UK www.kcip.com and it works. |

![]() yes,
with me too. In contrary to voxalot or FWD kcip make my phone ring, if s.o. calls me using the Austrain (+43 1)-23-ENUM-Entry-Service, instead of directly send the call to VM, like voxalot. But kcip does not have a voicemailbox (yet?). Carl
