![]() Hello,
I have a Sipura 3000 and I am registered with Nodephone. I've set up the Siputa such that direct inbound phone calls work (tested) ![]() Given that Nodephone doesn's support DID I was thinking that I could use VoXaLoT Call forwarding such that any calls to <mynumber>@voxalot.com.au get automatically redirected to the <mynodephonenumber>@internode.on.net (using the "default" option) However when I try to call all I get is a busy tone ![]() Any hint much appreciated. Many thanks. Cheers. |

![]() Have you verified that Nodephone accepts incoming forwarded SIP calls? Many VoIP providers do not. SIP Broker's status for Nodephone would seem to indicate they do not.

![]() Is direct IP dialling an option (I don't know if VoXaLot's call forward feature supports IP dialling, or whether your SIP device can accept incoming direct IP calls)?
That is, setting VoXaLot's call forward to <nodephonenumber>@<IP address>, where <IP address> is either your existing static IP address, or, if your IP number is dynamic, <nodephonenumber>@<dynamic domain>, using a dynamic DNS service such as DynDNS. |

![]() Many thanks for your replies.
![]() Sorry, I made a mistake trying to explain my problem. ![]() I should have said that I want to forward calls directly to my Sipura adapter i.e. <number>@<my domain> (not <number>@internode.on.net) I know that direct i dialling works because I've tested it. (Nodephone indeed doesn't accept forwarding) So when on VoXaLoT I disable Call Forwarding then I get the Mailbox/User "unavailable". If I enable Call Forwarding to <number>@<my domain> then I get a busy tone. If I call directly my phone (from another location, using a softphone) it works. Is VoXaLoT using the SRV tag ? (I am with DynDNS which doesn't provide this). What do I miss ? Cheers. |
