Default ATA-186 no dial tone

Just now (admit I have not used it recently) I tried to make a call on my Cisco ATA-186. No dial tone.

I have checked the ATAconfig, and there is no change, and I have done a traceroute to us.voxalot.com:5060 no problem. I have checked my first level VSP and I have a balance.

Just no dialtone.

Any ideas?

Usually, no dial tone indicates that the ATA is not registering with the VoIP server (Voxalot in this case).

Is there a status page that tells you if the device is registered, IP address, etc. ?

Unfortunatley the ATA-186 does not provide that functionality AFAIK.

However, it dawned on me that Voxalot could add to their service a device registed page much like their VSP page! I think it's a great value added service.

For example: Going to that page would show what devices using your account were registred TO voxalot and their status (if available).

Martin, can you respond to say that you have seen this request?

Yep seen this request and after checking our tracking system see an item matching the request.

No ETA currently assigned though.
