I can't make any calls via the .com.au server at the moment. My ATA shows it's registered with voxalot.com.au but none of my providers work.

For me the service has been stable for roughly the past 9 hours...

Thanks to Martin and any others involved in resolving this issue.

Sincerely

Colin

voxalot.com's IP address is blocked in PeerGuardian 2 as a "P2P fake"
Anybody having softphone issues should check this as well.

.com is working ATM, let's hope it lasts

Default No Good ATM

Can register with .com.au but all calls are still busy. Can't register with .com at all.

Good catch, I see that Voxalot is being detected as
ServerBeach Emule servers|P2P Fakes

After disabling that IP entry in PeerGuardian 2, X-lite is able to register directly to the IP address.

VoXaLot appears to be healthy at the moment. Let's see if we can't get you going on voxalot.com:

1. Go to http://www.voxalot.com, login if necessary, and go to 'My Account'. On the 'Member Details' page, make sure your Userid is set to your VoXaLot phone number and select 'voxalot.com' as your 'Preferred Server'.

2. On the 'Dial Plans' page, edit each of your dial plan entries, setting 'Active' to 'No'.

3. Make sure your ATA has its Proxy server set to 'voxalot.com' and reboot it.

4. Your ATA should register with voxalot.com. If it doesn't, try setting the ATA Proxy server to 64.34.163.35 instead of 'voxalot.com'. If it still fails, make sure you can ping and traceroute to 64.34.163.35. If you can, try connecting your ATA directly to your modem if you are using a router. If it still fails to register, there must configuration or other problems with your ATA.

5. Try calling 500 and 600. If these work, enable your dial plan entries one at a time, making sure everything still works after doing so. If one or more fails, recheck the dial plan syntax and the Provider entry details it points to.

6. If outgoing calls are working, try some incoming calls (you may have to wait up to 24 hours for the next registration cycle for provider registrations to activate).

See how this goes and report back.

As Ron says, voxalot.com should be stable.

It seems that another VoIP provider has (either maliciously or inadvertantly - yet to be determined) been sending all their traffic via voxalot.com.au. We have made some changes on our side to try to prevent that and restarted our service.

Please retry, and if you are still experiencing problems on either server, report back here.

Thanks again for your patience.

All seems to be fine now, just made my GoTALK call, now my account should remain active. Tried FreeCall and SIPME, all okay.

It looks like I am back in business on my voxalot account now.

THANKS!
