The other thing to bare in mind is that our ENUM lookup accomodates all international prefixes used through-out the world.
i.e. If you pass 00-1-800-555-1212 to either VoXaLot or SIP Broker it is smart enough to parse out the ENUM number to lookup. Likewise 0011-1-800-555-1212 or 011-1-800-555-1212 evilbunny made a suggestion in another thread to handle international formats and I just rembered that to a certain extent we already do this.
