g723 support

is it possible to get g723 support? It is not that I like it so much but it can be a help in low bandwidth situations where other codecs may not be available!

Hi MarkosJal,

The g723 codec is already available on the phone server. Just add "g723" to your codec field on the provider. There might be a validation on the web page which restricts it though. If there is let me know and we will modify the validation.

Yes MArtin I am not able to use g723 on any of my accounts. I get the working that I must use g726, g729,GSM,alaw ulaw

I also need g.723.1 support and cannot configure it...
I'm getting the following message:

Invalid Codecs. Please use combination of g729 g726 ilbc gsm ulaw or alaw separated by semi-colons.

Yes. Just put g726 somewhere in the codec field for the provider. The codecs also need to be delimited by a semi-colon.
