VoXalot with pennytel problem
Hi
I have been trying to fix this for the last 24 hrs for no avail. I am using ATA 3102 The problem: When I set the ATA to use pennytel directly according to the configuration file from pennytel, I am able to call out, but when I set VoXaLot to use pennytel as the provider it does not call out, it rather gives some strange tones. If I use the other provider “freshtel”, VoXaLot works fine. This makes me to think that VoXaLot and pennytel have an issue communicating. How can I go about fixing this? Thanks |

Is it my eyes or do you have 1 too many X's?
You should have 8 X's not 9 There is a test feature on the smart call (dial plan) list page that lets you test dial plans. .

To use the test function, type the number in the test field on the Smart Call (dial plan screen)
The system will then show you how the number typed in will be routed. i.e. which dial plan rule will be executed. Tony. |

Ok, after testing I get this,
A call to:0296186159 will get forwarded to sip:0296186159@sip.pennytel.com is this correct for pennytel? thanks |

My Pennytel Dial plan using the advanced mode is
Pattern Replacement _[345]xxxxxxx 617${EXTEN} Pennytel - local calls Qld _0[2378]xxxxxxx... ${EXTEN} Pennytel - rest of Australia _04x. ${EXTEN} Pennytel - moblies _0011x. ${EXTEN} Pennytel - international calls I also use Enum lookup for the calls except for mobiles - I can post these also if you want them - Bill |
