You can make multiple calls from the same Voxalot account at the same time.
You may need multiple SIP devices or soft phones however. Are you calling other VoIP accounts or traditional Land line numbers? If calling regular phone numbers, your service provider must also support multiple calls or you need multiple providers. WebCall is a feature to set up a call between two endpoints from your Voxalot account. This requires a Premium Voxalot service. Please also refer to the Voxalot FAQ - Main Page - Voxalot FAQ |

That's an interesting question. I had to test it to find out.
Basically, Web Callback initiates the call, and does not handle any traffic. So, the answer is Yes, multiple calls can be initiated via Web Callback, while the previous call is still in progress. However, if you are making calls to Land line numbers, you must have a land line (PSTN) termination provider who will support simultaneous calls, or you must have a separate provider for each call. Voxalot supports unlimited VoIP calls. So the part of the call to a Voxalot registered phone is free and not limited. VoxLite should be fine for this. Note that when making a WebCallback to a Voxalot phone, enter the number as *010xxxxxx (where the last 6 numbers are the Voxalot Account Number). Similary, use the SIP Broker format for other providers. Further there is a very light version of WebCallback, that can be used from a mobile device with minimal network traffic. This is critical when you are being charged by the kilobyte. The login is at : Voxalot Last edited by kurun; 04-11-2009 at 06:00 PM. Reason: Added note on Mobile Call-Back |
