I suspect that it is to do with the DTMF settings.

From page 33 of the V100 user guide.
No DTMF tone at remote sitea
If the remote site cannot properly get DTMF tones that are generated from your side, please try different DTMF relay mode (in band or RFC 2833).

It looks like you can change it with the V100 PC Tool, on the "Local" Tab.

People that use POTS can't directly call anyone on the net unless the called party has a DID. Do you have a DID?

If you have a DID can you forward it to VoXaLot?

People using POTS can use sipbroker pstn Numbers to call you.

As you can see from the Sipbroker Whatpages VoXaLot's code is *010

EDIT Just found this on the VoXaLot FAQ.
# Can I be Called From a Regular Phone

Yes

Regular PSTN phone users can call your VoXaLot number by using one of the 200+ PSTN Access numbers available at our sister site SIP Broker

At the voice prompt, simply dial *010[followed by your 6 digit VoXaLot number]

Since the numbers in Austrtalia are just ordinary PSTN numbers not freecall (1800) numbers then at a guess it would cost the caller a local call if the number is in their local call area.
