Default Calling SIP URI addresses using dialplan : can't hear them

Hello voxalot users!

Yesterday I recieved a Siemens Gigaset S470 IP. I already figured out I wanted to call other users by means of their SIP URI address. This is what I've done:

- registered voipcheap as first provider in the Siemens
- registered voxalot as second
- created a dialplan, all calls starting with 999 should go to voxalot
- registered my voipcheap account in voxalot with default settings
- created a dialplan : if 9991 is dialed, forward it to user@sip.voipcheap.com

If I dial 9991 at the handset, the softphone client on the other side rings. I can answer that call. The person being called is able to hear me, but I cannot hear the other side.

For the records, I am able to use VoipCheap directly to call landlines. It is also possible for a softclient user to contact me. After a long search I discovered there was a bug in the VoipCheap client which means I cannot right0-click on a contact and make a computer-to-computer call. I have to enter the userame directly into the box below.

Anyone has a clue why I cannot hear the other party using voxalot?

Default

And I found the answer:

I had to use a diffent Codec : alaw;ulaw;g726;g729;ilbc;gsm.

I also have a suggestion. I am able to search for a voip provider, see it's ratings etc. Can there be a button to add the provider to the provider list?
