![]() Why 'again': I see this message is mentioned a lot in the forum, but no match with situation below was found:
I use Voxalot premium account to forward calls based on some rules: - during night (0:00-7:59) direct to voicemail - during day (8:00-17:59) redirect to a cell phone - during evening (18:00-23:59) redirect to fixed phone number xxxxxx Redirection is done ok, but when redirection is done to cell or fixed phone there is no sound. When redirected to voicemail there is sound.... On the Voip supplier website I allowed the voip telephone number to be used for outbound calls. I see the directed calls on the online bill for the voip telephone number. When using a softphone I can dial out and sound is ok as well. In the softphone logs I see Symetric NAT is used. Voip supplier supports codecs: - G.711U/A - G.729 - G.729a - G.723 I tried: - optimised audio=YES and Symmetric NAT=NO - optimised audio=NO and Symmetric NAT=YES - various orders in the codecs string with both sets listed above. PS: when I configure the Voip phone number on a Fritz 7170 I can call the number and the bi-direction sound is ok when other side answers.... What can be the case here???? ![]() Which provider are you using to do the forward?
Have you tried using an alternate provider...does the same issue occur? |

![]() Hi, thanks for the response. I use the Dutch provider XS4All. I did not try an other provider. I will try for sure and keep you posted!

![]() Hi,
I've just tried with voipbuster but without any luck. Still no sound ![]() Strange thing is: When I pick up the phone at the directed side I do not hear sound. On the caller side it keeps ringing. When connection is broken by receiver, there is a disconnect at caller side as well.. Last edited by AxwayNL; 10-13-2009 at 08:30 AM. |
