Voxalot to Voxalot incoming call problem
I have a strange problem with other Voxalot users trying to call me. After a silent pause they get engaged/not available tones and I do not hear any ringing.
My outgoing calls to Voxalot users are normal. However, I do get other incoming calls, the following all work.... Direct IP calls work. Incoming provider calls work. Voxalot's 'Virtual Toll Free' works, calling my Voxalot number as expected. The ATA is a Linksys 3102,using port 5065 (because of other VoIP devices.) Until recently all calls used to work OK? It doesn't make sense that all but a Voxalot call to my number works. Any suggestions? Regards, Ian |

Do calls from SipBroker access numbers work fine also?
Is there a number of people that can't reach you VoXalot<>VoXalot or just a single person (I am just wondering if it isn't a minor Dial Plan issue on the caller's part...?) |

Sipbroker calls to this phone also do not work. i.e. Both *061VoxalotNumber' and their ENUM lookup. ---------- Three Voxalot users, that can call me on another SPA (also registered with Voxalot) get the same pause then failure, so it's not dial plan problems. I am going to do a factory reset and reconfigure the ATA to see if that cures the problem. Could be some strange glitch. Regards, Ian |

Problem solved.
A 'Factory Reset' of the ATA fixed the problem. All the settings now look the same in the web interface as the original (took a copy of the old ones before resetting.) I guess the settings somewhere became junk. I still do not understand why some incoming calls would ring but the ones from Voxalot did not. emoci, thanks for your reply. I am always grateful for any help. Regards Ian |
