We are in the process of setting up our VoXaLot Premium service and our first server to launch will be in based the U.S.

According to our web metrics the following list of countries represent our top 10 user locations (in order).

We are planning to add premium servers in many locations and would like to know where our members would like to see them located.

Please take the time to vote for your preference and post any relevant comments.

Just to be clear, the purpose of these special servers is not for our ordinary SIP proxying uses, but they are to be used particularly for the web callback feature, and the value of these servers being geographically closer to the user is because unlike the SIP proxy in our ordinary phone calls, the particular server hosting the web call is the intermediary through which all traffic passes, right?

So ping times are much more relevant here than they are to voxalot users who don't use web callback? Assuming all that, one USA server (or one West Coast and one East Coast one), one Western European server, and one eastern Australian server ought to pretty much cover most of the paying users with tolerable ping times I suppose.

Yes. The new servers will reduce latency and improve QOS for web callback and members that rely on our RTPProxy.

why not place it in some 'not so many users' western european country? To minimize the conflict potential as in contrast to the server and majority of users beeing 'colocated' (equalization of interest).

e.g: switzerland, austria, luxemburg etc

I know i am late (more than a year late) but if you had a server and more importantly i dial in number in colombia i would DEFINITLY sighn up to the premium service... in fact i wouldnt think twice and i am quite sure the majority of the colombian community here in australia would too.

At the moment there are NO other companies with dial in numbers in colombia!!!

Imagine the niche market!

Malaysia is equally good location but has slight edge over others in this area. Main trunks under see pass through here and some VPN provider also has server in Malaysia. So it hot and strategic place for Voxalot server.
