Voicemail after no answer.
I've read so much, my brian hurts! It's likely I've missed something obvious, but am I correct in presuming that voicemail should pickup an incoming call after 30s or so?
My configuration: Billion 7404VGP Phone port 1 registered to voxalot.com. e164.org set so that my PSTN number +61 7 3851xxxx >> nnnnnn@voxalot.com Provider in VoXaLot set to sip.sipme.com.au, status says registered. VoXaLot call forwarding - nothing set. VoXaLot preferred server: voxalot.com. When a friend (on SIPME) rings my PSTN 3851xxxx number (his 7404VGP is registered to SIPME, and he has a VoXaLot account with SIPME as an unregistered provider, and VoXaLot dial plans that send calls to SIPME) my phone on line 1 of the Billion rings, and we can talk, no problems. However, when I do not answer the phone, he hears ring tone (as expected) for about 30s, at which time my phone stops ringing, and he then hears what is like a busy tone. But he does not get diverted to voicemail. (I've also tried the above using voxalot.com.au everywhere instead of voxalot.com. Same thing.) Should he? What have I missed? Thanks, Bob Long |
