Calls going to voicemail when not registered

HI,

I use Google Voice for incoming calls forwarded to my cellphone and X-lite registered on Voxalot and it works great however I am experiencing an issue that is most likely by design but I would like to change.

When I turn off x-lite and someone calls my GV number, Voxalot immediately answers and goes to voicemail. My cellphone never rings. I would like to be able to get calls on my cellphone when not running x-lite. Is there a way to delay the voicemail picking?

Edit: I turned off voicemail in my control panel and now my cellphone rang when I made a test call. I hope it keeps working, if there is another more "official" solution I would still like to know. thanks.
