Voicemail
Trying to check my voicemail from my ATA and softphone but always unable to connect.
ATA is pointing to voxalot and everything other than voicemail currently seems to be working but dialing 500 always gives me a cannot connect or similar message. My dial plan is setup to forward XXX to voxalot. What is my issue? Thanks, RDP |

Try not explicitly defining a dial plan entry for XXX. If the other dial plan entries are setup ok VoXaLot will automatically handle XXX numbers

Martin, wonder if you received my PM? I am stil having problems reaching voicemail. Just dialing 500 gives an error and my dialplan (after your reccomendation) notes that calls to 500 will go to my first and only defined provider.
Thanks in advance, RDP |

Sorry not read the PM. As for your problem, what is the dial plan entry pattern as it is undoubtably matching on 500?

I agree with you, so that's why I was suprised you asked me to delete the XXX from my dailplan. Anyway, here it is:
Dial plans in priority order: Priority Pattern Replacement Provider Active 1 _X. ${EXTEN} Iconnecthere Yes [Edit] [Delete] Many thanks, RDP |

Try changing it to:
Priority Pattern Replacement Provider Active 1 _XXXX. ${EXTEN} Iconnecthere Yes [Edit] [Delete] Essentially any dialled number greater than 4 digits is passed onto Iconnecthere.

Yes, that works. Seems I need to study the dailplan more as this current dialplan resembles my initial dialplan which started this whole thead.
Thanks for you help, RDP |
