Default Can dial plan pass on * character?

Hi,

I use Webacall and SIpphone. Both use the * (asterisk character) for some network numbers, like at Webacall I use *88 to check my account balance.

While working with my Voxalot dial plan I have not been able to get the *88 (or other numbers beginning with *) to pass to Webacall or Sipphone. Is it possible?

I send (say) 88 and add the * in the dial plan as *${EXTEN} to get round this. There must be other ways too.

This is the only way I am aware of passing on an * to the provider. A leading * is used by Voxalot for SIP Broker and speed dialing.
