Sometimes playing around with Betamax like this causes temporary blocks, even without Voxalot
I have incoming DIDs for 2 accounts running in the PC clients. If I call one from the other, using the number, it usually rings, but not always; sometimes it's blocked. In fact this was my test of the blocking a while ago - using Voxalot callback, 1st leg call the Voipcheap DID with Voipbuster, then 2nd the VB number using VC. As long as I ticked the pop-up query: logged on at another place, re-logon? it would work, and I could answer both and talk to myself for a few seconds. And, since about September, using one Betamax brand for both legs of Voxalot callback would work, but before that no chance So I can't answer the queries, but there might be clues here for other people. You can be logged on in more than one place, but I wonder how the query about it would work with ATA and Voxalot registrations thrown into the pot - automatic or not? Don't ask me - I don't use that stuff, only callback, and I might be talking gibberish, so apologies in advance if so. |

how to monitor avaiability of voipcheap.com and/or other betamax clones?
voxalot dialplan blocked for sip.voipcheap.com (voip error id 503) using "sie 450ip".
output call working ok with "voipcheap client". voxalot dial plans for sip.voipbuster.com and sipgate.at (using "sie 450ip" and "voipbuster client") are ok. location: austria - vienna voxalot server: eu.voxalot.com internet provider: chello.at ipaddress: not changed last 12 monts router: netgear wnr854t date: 18.04.2007 error start time: 18:05 error duration: 20 min (until 18:25). is it posible to monitor avaiability of "voipcheap.com" 3-4 days, every 15 minutes using "cron" or "nagios" or ....??? liebe grüße fla |

just tried it with the eu and us server, both are not working for outbound calls. the au server then worked. i "hope" betamax has still some downtime issues.

Mine is working perfectly all day today and yesterday, which means Betamax may have blocked your IP. due to their own restrictions.

funny one, havent made a call since yesterday afternoon. and as i understood the blocking was for max 5 minutes.

So far as I can tell:
- Some people had problems yesterday - Betamax have told us they had downtime yesterday - No-one has any problems today Hence case closed. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
