![]() I have a Voxalot account with 2 Voip Service providers in my Dial Plan.
The service is programmed on a Grandstream 102 IP Phone. When I dial a PSTN number, the call is directed per the dial plan, and the quality is quite good. I can access my voice-mail by dialling 500 and pass code, or run the echo test. I can receive calls from another SIP account dialled from another Grandstream 102 phone, registered with Voiptalk, and using the **473*010xxxxxx format through SIP Broker. However, when I dial from the Voxalot account using the format *258xxxxxxx, the Voiptalk phone rings once, and the call goes to the Voxalot voicemail. I have no Voicemail on the Voiptalk account, so it is definitely not the issue. Does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong with my dial plan or GS 102 setup, or what I should check. My Dial plan is as follows : Priority Pattern Replacement Provider Active 2 _001. ${EXTEN} VSP1 Yes 3 _00356. ${EXTEN} VSP2 Yes 4 _XXX. ${EXTEN} VSP1 Yes When I run the test on the dial plan page, I get the message saying that the call will go to *258xxxxxxx@sipbroker.com [VSP1 and VSP2 are the 2 providers I am using for the outpoing PSTN calls] Appreciate any help I can get. Thanks By the way, the phones are connected to the same router (Linksys WRT54GS), not sure if that is relevant. Last edited by kurun; 09-27-2006 at 03:07 AM. |

![]() OK, I believe that I now understand the problem.
I had previously programmed Voiptalk as one of my VSPs on my Voxalot account. Although I deleted it from the Voxalot account, it appears to have stayed active for some time. Voxalot was picking up my outgoing call from the Voxalot account to the Voiptalk account, and redirecting it to voicemail, as the service was considering my Voxalot line as busy. The problem cleared up the next day, perhaps after the server fully cleared up the registrations, etc. I hope that is not too confusing. Thanks |
