![]() I can't directly send *'s with my fritzbox fon 7140 to access my speed dials so instead I send 5n to access **n.
(eg 51 to access **1 speed dial) To achieve this, I have set up a dial plan to convert 5 to **: pattern: _5X replacement **${EXTEN:1:1} provider Voxalot Testing this with the dial plan test seems to work fine, but when I actually call to voxalot I hear the message "Speed dial number you dialed does not exist" Any suggestions? |

I would think **${EXTEN:1} would work fine? Also pattern _5x. (with the dot in the end right)? |

![]() **${EXTEN:1} won't work either, same error message.
_5X. won't accept one digit only after 5. |

![]() **${EXTEN:1} _should_ work fine with _5X and no dot. This will give you 9 speed dial entries using 51 through 59.
Smart Call shows the replacement as you say, correctly. However my tests on my own device caused a message to be returned as you say "Speed.... not exist". Why it doesn't work I don't know? Perhaps Craig could look into it. |

![]() A work around for a Billion device is to add a local VoIP dial plan entry to substitute 52 wth **2 ..... that works.

![]() I would have done it this way but my device does not allow for * prefixes to be inserted through dial plans.

![]() hi gcf,
I have only 1 dial plan in my fritzbox 7071 that is 0. it can dial 1) 0x. for national calls 2) 00x. for international call 3) 000x. for SIP Broker dial e.g *555 4) 0000x. for speed dial e.g. **1 my top most dial plan in voxalot is # Pattern Replacement Provider Active 1 _0000. **${EXTEN:4} Voxalot Yes 2 _000. *${EXTEN:3} SIPBroker Yes 3 _00. ${EXTEN} intprovider Yes 4 _0. ${EXTEN} natprovider Yes But from test button 00001 goes to **1 voxalot. I don't know if voxalot will dial 1 speed dial entry or not. Anyway i have tried to dial 00001 and get message that speed dial entry does not exist. It means dialing is proper but there is some error in handling. It will be very nice if speed dial can be available as provider in smart plan then my plans can work without any problems. It seems there is problem for recursive dialing. I have tried using callback & speed dial does not work majo Last edited by majo; 10-29-2007 at 08:39 PM. |
