Cannot Receive Incoming Calls - Im a newbie

Hi

I am unable to receive calls at all from other voxalot users. I have checked all my PAP2 settings and its all ok. I am able to call other VOXALOT users - with no issues.

If someone tries to call me, after around 40-60 sec no response VM comes up.

Any suggestions?

I am unable to receive calls from any one on Voxalot. Wondering if this issue could have been caused by port being blocked in my alcatel speedtouch 510 router?

After reading PAP 2 troubleshooting guide some other ISP's suggested to forward port filtering.

Just wondering will this help me?? I dont want to spend more time on something that is unlikely to help me.

Please Help??

Quite possibly. More often than not this is the reason inbounds do not work. Try calling *010xxxxxx from one of the SIPBroker - PSTN Numbers

In the beginning (when I just created my account) I was having the same problem. I don't have your type of modem, but still VM was coming in. After I played with voxalot settings like disabling web calling (!?), disabling voice massaging, then it worked. I'm not sure why but now I don't have any ports forwarded from the modem(router) to my pap2 and it is working just fine. I hope it will work for you too.
