Voicemail Access Poll

Hi guys,

Seems a small number of members are having problems accessing their voicemail. We would like to understand if there is a common reason for this.

Please take the time to dial either *500 or 500 (if you device does not allow leading *'s).

Then post:

1. What is the very first voice prompt you hear (comedian mail or password etc)
2. Entering password works ok
3. Device you are using
4. DTMF setting
5. Codec is device

Edit: Added 5th option (Codec). Feel free to edit existing entries.

3. X-Pro (Global IP Telecom release 2006r build stamp 12448)

5. I tried alaw, ulaw, G729, iLBC and GSM. Same results.

Thanks, what Codec are you using?

Should I change my DTMF settings? I don't have a clue what to change... Please advice if you need further input. I will also try with hardware ATA as soon as I am home again.
Would the X-Pro diagnostics log be of any help for you?

2 Login doesn't work (always says 'password incorrect' and disconnects after 3 attempts
3 Siemens Gigaset c-450 IP
4 Enabled all of
- DTMF as sound
- DTMF as RFC 2833
- DTMF as SIP-info
5 First matching of G711 a/u law , G726, G729

I've been trying out some combinations, and it DOES WORK
when only enabling RFC 2833 !!
