Smile Callcentric Provider registration

Hi,

I registered my callcentric plan with voxalot but none of my outbound calls seem to be going through. I seem to hit a message that starts with we re sorry and then the call drops. Callcentric support says that they have not recieved any invites? Where have I gone wrong ?

Setting Register to yes within the Voxalot provider detail's screen means incoming calls to your Callcentric number will ring your Voxalot account.

Did you set up a Callcentric entry under the Voxalot Dial Plan so your calls out will use it as a provider? Voxalot doesn't know who to use as a provider for your calls out until you set up instructions in your Dial Plan page of your account portal on Voxalot. It sounds like that could be your problem.

I've just discovered that Callcentric does not need to be SIP Registered for incoming calls.

At CC, you can set up call treatments and redirect all calls to:
voxalotid @ [au|us|eu].voxalot.com

From experience, I have found that using no cluster code is less reliable and sometimes incoming calls go straight to voicemail; this issue doesn't seem to crop up if using the cluster code.
