Question Can I use Voxalot if I am with iinet?

I have signed up and am ready to talk but I am with iinet and my ATA is their own Belkin. I do not know what information to put in the ATA to set up Voxalot - Anyone help?

If you are using iiNet you're pretty screwed.

Ah yes, but if his Belkin wasn't locked or if he had better VoIP gear [like Billion], could he use iiNetPhone as one of his providers okay?

iiNet is locked to those on the iiNet network, so if your IP address is not one of theirs then forget it.

iiNet is the source and as time goes by there is less documentation regarding this issue on the iiNet website.
Can I take my phone adapter when I travel? Also note that you can only subscribe to iiNet VoIP if you are a iiNet subscriber.

I believe that this is because of legal reasons (read: emergency calls)and iiNet being a full service provider. There has been a lot of discussion in the past on this topic on WP.

Basically it comes down to iiNet having to enforce the rule that if you are not on their network then you are not allowed to register your ATA.
