Any Ideas!! Webcall to dial at specific time daily
I will be going out of town and would like to use the webcallback feature to call home at a specific time eachday while I'm away.
There is no internet access, sipbroker access or mobile web access where I will be just a local landline. So I was wondering if there is a way I can setup webcallback before I leave so I get called at the local number where I will be visiting at a specific time everyday so I can talk to my family while I am away. Wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I may do this? I am also content with a non-voxalot solution. |

How about having your voxalot webcallback page setup on a machine at home and having one of your family initiate the call?
To make this easier, you can have voxalot remember your login, your family member only has to click on an entry in your web callback that you set up before you go. Of course, they have to remember to make the call. I am not sure how long a delay can be used with web callback, but that might be another option. Perhaps Martin can tell us the maximum number that can be used in the delay field. If the number is big enough, you can pre-schedule calls for each day before you leave, hopefully you get the timing right.... not much use if the timing is out. |

The max call-back delay is 99 secs. VoXRoam is a service we have in beta test which would have suited your needs. Unfortunately this option is not yet available to the public.
I'm not clear why you are unable to use one of the SIP Broker access numbers and dial *010<voxalot number>? Edit: There is a bunch of numbers HERE

Thanks for the reply, webcallback delay didn't really serve my purpose and the country I am travelling to does not have a sipbroker access number. I also took a look at Jajah and their rates are way too high. I decided to use other alternatives, but thanks everyone for your ideas.
