1. Open an account at www.pbxes.com, choosing a username and password. (if you already have a PBXes acct. use that)
2. Log in. 3. You will see that there are a number of options on the left-hand side under the heading "Setup PBXes". -Click on Trunks and choose "Add SIP Trunk". -Under "General Settings" give the trunk a name (VBuzzer for instance). -Under "Account" put in your VBuzzer username, password and SIP server (vbuzzer.com:80). -Under "Register" choose "yes (inbound and outbound calls)". -Next, click on "Submit Changes" at the bottom. A red band will appear the the top of the page to indicate that you have made changes. Click on that to confirm. 4. Back to the left-hand side again. Click on "Extensions" and add a SIP extension. Give it a number (100 for instance) and a display name (Your own name, maybe). Click on "Submit" and again the red bar that appears on the top. 5. Next, we need to tell that extension to forward the call to Voxalot. We do this by going to "Extensions" on the left-hand side again and this time clicking on the extension that we created earlier. "Under Device Options" you will see a field called "dial". In there put "SIP/<yourVoxalotID>@voxalot.com. Submit and confirm (red bar). 6. Once more back to the left-hand side. Click on "Inbound Routing" and add a route. Under "Trunk" you would usually put in the name of your trunk. However for VBuzzer there is an special case, and you will need to actually enter your VBuzzer username here. Now select a destination where to send the calls. -Either have them forwarded to the extension setup above -Or forward them to a SIP URI (123456@voxalot.com ...of course replace 123456 with your number) BTW, if you decide to go via the SIP URI method, you can skip steps 4 & 5 ... Submit and confirm with the red bar. After all that, incoming calls to your VBuzzer DID should be forwarded by PBXes to VoXalot. Your phone should ring! (The above info is a modified version from the original write-up. It was originally put together by ataboy for Sipgate) |
