VoXaLot supports T38 passthrough for VoXaLot <-> VoXaLot transmissions (just like it does for video)
In other words, if both end points are using VoXaLot a fax can be sent/received using T38.

T-38 Fax protocol and service poviders
That is very interesting.
If a Service provider supports T-38, is it possible to send a Fax using an ATA logged on to Voxalot routed via the dial plan through the particular service provider and ultimately to a landline number? Do I have to add T-38 on the Codec line of the service provider? If not, can T-38 protocol support be considered for a future upgrade to allow faxing to a landline number? Thanks for your help. |

This is known as a T38 gateway and certainly is a possible feature in the near future.
