The same code is executed in both cases.

Interesting. We do have an open action to add more diagnostic messaging to the callback feature. As for load on the Oz server, this seems unlikely as it is the most under utilised server out of the 4.

Looking at all your other posts it seems every one of them is audio related:

This is probably the root cause of your callback problem.

1. What Codecs are you using for your providers?
2. Are you using the same provider for both call legs?
3. Does your provider support this?

If you PM me your 6 digit account number I can take a quick look.

I live in Italy, use eu.voxalot.com and I configure web callback to use 2 different VoIPCheap account to start the 2 calls.
Work perfectly for me...

In fact you could use the same Voipcheap account for both legs

If I reverse the calls that are made by FreeCall, then it works, reverse them back and it fails.

I can't win on this one, nothing is reliable on one particular number when I try to get FreeCall to dial it through web call back. Perhaps this is one I should work through with Martin as I did with the call forwarding works.

Are you trying to use freecall on both call legs?

Freecall are known to have problems when used on both call legs.

I used the same web call back entry before, it worked fine at one stage -- now it seems that multiple calls (two legs) are not working any more with FreeCall. Why might this have changed? I am very positive that both legs via FreeCall has definitely worked for me in the past.

I've sent an email to FreeCall now. I believe that perhaps the last time it worked reliably for both legs was when I had a preferred server of voxalot.com [before the clustering set up].

Might be worth asking them the question. Maybe they are only allowing one call leg now.

It seems that FreeCall are worried about call centres using one membership to make many calls. I am not getting any positive answers at the moment, but I really do want to see multi-call facility returned to work the way I know it has in the past. My "special" number is also an ex-Orange number, and it's lifetime is limited and Three have their share of problems with forwarding as I occasionally get reports of people not being able to call me on it. So the combination is very frustating indeed. My best answer at this time is to use SIPME for one leg and FreeCall for the other unless I know it is going to be a longer call, then SIPME for both legs would be fine. This is assuming no VoIP equipment available to take advantage of one free leg so to speak.
