Thank you Voxalot
I would just like to thank Voxalot for the excellent service they provide. I used to mainly use Skype for VOIP calls, but was becoming increasingly frustrated by the one-size-fits-all attitude. SIP seemed daunting to set up, but the Voxalot service convinced me to go for it.
Now I have incoming DID numbers in the UK (SipGate) and Belgium (3Stars.net) and another outgoing SIP provider (voipfone.co.uk), all routed via Voxalot to my Linksys SPA-3102 and onto a cordless DECT phone. I also use a USB-B2K box - http://www.von-phone.com/usb_skype_phone_adapter.php - between the cordless phone and the SPA-3102, hooked up to a mac mini, to provide incoming Skype calls to the same phone. It took a while to get it all configured properly but now it works great and the quality of VOIP > PSTN calls using G711 is really impressive. Yes, I could of done most of this without Voxalot (except the multiple incoming numbers on the SPA-3102) but Voxalot made the whole process much more user-friendly and easy to manage. So thanks again... Ben |
